Richards first book is a memoir of her love to the sweet-natured horse she rescued. Lay Me Down turned out to be sicker than expected. “ She might not make it through with only three more months to live,” the vet said. Richard knew Lay Me Down had taught her a life lesson. Lay Me Down had rescued her.
While reading this book, I felt I was in the same situation as Richard. I would recommend this book to anyone who has the love for horses or enjoys a love-filled book.

But suddenly hid mother unexpectedly transformed into a monster. David was held under ice cold water, forced to eat his own vomit, stabbed, sleeps under the basement stairs, and forced to sit on a burning stove. These are just some of the things his mother did. David fought for his life to survive his mother’s tortures games she had played.
This book is a heart-breaking story that I would recommend to anyone who enjoys an unbelievable story.
